Potato Chip Cookie Recipe Sweet and Salty Good
This potato chip cookie recipe will surprise your family. The flavour is really good, but kind of secretive in that you can’t quite put your finger on whats different! Its more than a crunchy texture, and its not overly salty, especially with the chocolate. I hope you try to make them for the holidays and then see if your family can guess whats in them.
Of course being a simple drop cookie this potato chip cookie recipe is really shareable for gifts or any cookie exchange parties.

These cookies started with me standing in my too bare pantry, trying to dream up some sort of salty and sweet cookie. It’s really challenging to come up with something different and new. I had raisins chocolate chips but no skor pieces, or smarties no, peanuts, or pistachios. Excited I noticed a few left over potato chips. Silly me I was so sure this would be something new, something amazing, something no one ever thought of. I wrote out my recipe and went on Facebook.
My friend Debbie from Debbie Dabbles had just shared that she made a big batch of her mother’s potato chip cookies. I guess my “new” idea came about years ago. I like to think its from a Mom feeding her family and looking in her pantry to see what she make with what she had on hand.
