Waste Not Wednesday Link Party
Want to know a funny thing about hosting a link party? It keeps you on task! In the blurr that is blogging I am consistently shocked when Sam starts organizing on Sundays for the next week’s party. Sadly the last couple of weeks I have been working behind the scenes fixing and updating but am glad to say I have the wrinkles ironed out and am able to post again.
A special thank you to Julie from My Wee Adobe, thank you for letting me know the blog was timing out. It took two days with my picture optimiser, and two more with my site provider, but its all fixed. So when I say welcome back everyone, I truly mean it. Its great to be live online again. Let’s check out what the rest of you have been up to this week.

The featured blogger for the month of is Across the Boulevard.
Across the Blvd has two contributors, Beverly who is the blogger and her daughter Gloria who contributes home decor and recipe projects as well. This mother and daughter duo use to live across the street from once another hence the name. Beverly and Gloria both live in Charleston South Carolina. I was able to meet both of them during a Haven conference a couple of years ago. I can only dream of living in a city as beautiful as the one they call home!
Across the Blvd creates home decor projects and craft tutorials with the goal to help readers find frugal ways to create a beautiful home. They create lots of coastal decor, farm house decor, repurpose projects, decorating ideas and the occasional recipe.

Beverly has been participating in Waste not Wednesday for a long time, and she is generous with supporting other blogs including myself. Please share some blogger love this month with Beverly and Glorias projects, she is a joy to work with.
This week’s Monthly Bloggers Featured Post
I understand people who love to redo furniture in pretty colours, some of their work is art. I personally love painting our furniture white, its give a cohesive look to old furniture, its clean and bright, and its easier. I loved this post from Shirley and Gloria where they took a bunch of old furniture and updated it, it made such a huge different.

Living on the western side of the Canadian prairie provinces you rarely see really beautiful rustic antiques. Dabbling and decorating recently inherited Coastal main home is beyond gorgeous. When looking at this beautiful cabinet and her directions for styling it. I just knew it would be a DIY project I wanted to tackle. Don’t you think it would be easy to make with Pine boards? It certainly looks like it was originally had made. Talk about inspiration. I am enthralled.
