Waste Not Wednesday – Link Party 161

The Waste Not Wednesday Link Party

Recently I have noticed a serious decline in Link Parties.  I know for myself I found link party animal which was great for posting to parties.  Unfortunately in the busy world I found I wasn’t returning daily to see what others were posting missing out on the relationships.  So I quit using link party animal.

Then of course it took me a couple of months to get back going on all the various link parties.  I started to look to find them and find many have closed.

I think link parties are great for bloggers, its how I built my relationships with other bloggers, learned what was trending, and it was a fabulous way to find new posts to share to social media.  This is especially important for new bloggers who may not know too many other bloggers.

So if you have a link party, please let me know in the comments and I will include your party in my spreadsheet.

  2. Hi Leanna! So nice to be partying with you again. Your minimalist farmhouse art looks so sweet! I hope you’re having a nice summer so far.

  3. Hi Leanna, I just ran across your party although I don’t have any posts that will fit your requirement (home decor, recipes, or crafts). However, I do host some parties if you would like to add them to your spreadsheet: Wednesday AIM – every month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday, UNLIMITED Monthly – every month on the 1st, Short Story Prompt – every month on the 15th and 30th, and Blogging Grandmothers – exclusively for grandmother bloggers – every month on the 1st.

  4. So glad you added our Talk Of The Town Party back on your spreadsheet, Leanna! Thanks for hosting your awesome party and finger’s crossed for warmer weather for the two of us SOON.

  5. I’m hosting the Little Cottage Link Party at Love My Little Cottage. Anything home related is welcomed. I included the link in this week’s Waste Not Wednesday. Party Animal does keep us from interacting, which is the whole point of link parties anyway. Plus, if your one of your posts is featured, you wouldn’t know, or be able to thank the hostess, unless she happened to comment regarding your feature.

  6. Wonderful party, as always, Leanna… Of course, Tuesday Turn About would ALWAYS love to have you link up! Feel free to check out my “Let’s Party” page for my list of LPs. 😉

  7. Hi Leanna, Tarah and I would love to have you join To Grandma’s House We Go anytime 🙂 I agree with you – such a great way to get to know people, get inspired. Before I was ever a blogger I used to read a couple blogs just to see the link parties! Then low and behold here I am blogging, joining, and hosting. (FYI – link party is closed already?) Sending hugs to you my friend.
