A collection of pie recipes for Fall. As families gather together for Fall, and all the fresh fruits are available it is a wonderful time to make one or two special pies. Gone are the days of filling freezers to have apple pie on hand, people don’t indulge like they used to. But when they do indulge I think pies are an extra special treat.

Special Pie Recipes

Special pie recipes are my way of mentioning pies that are a bit different than what I have ever heard of. A pie recipe that’s a bit unique and amazing.

I know that a classic Quebec sugar pie is meant to be made in late winter or early spring when the maple syrup starts to flow. BUT, maple is a fabulous fall flavor so I am including it. An amazingly sweet and delicious pie that’s a bit out of the ordinary.
