Pie Recipes

A collection of pie recipes for Fall.  As families gather together for Fall, and all the fresh fruits are available, it is a wonderful time to make one or two special pies.  Gone are the days of filling freezers to have apple pie on hand; people don’t indulge like they used to.  But when they do indulge, I think pies are an extra special treat.

Easy Pie Recipes

The easy pie recipes come with either a crumb crust or a few ingredients or they are no-bake.  It’s always wonderful to have one or two easy pie recipes handy to whip something up easily if needed.  Here is a collection of a few proven recipes.

Special Pie Recipes

Special pie recipes are my way of mentioning pies that are a bit different than what I have ever heard of. A pie recipe that’s a bit unique and amazing.

I know that a classic Quebec sugar pie is meant to be made in late winter or early spring when the maple syrup starts to flow. BUT, maple is a fabulous fall flavor so I am including it. An amazingly sweet and delicious pie that’s a bit out of the ordinary.
