A tradition low fat high fiber bran muffin recipe, that I have been baking for 30 years. The bran muffins are moist and full of flavour a tried and true favorite.

Ingredients
1 1 /2cupsall-purpose flour
1 ½cupsKellogg All-Bran Cereal
½cupbrown sugar
1tbspof cinnamon
1tspbaking powder
½tspsalt
1tspbaking soda
1cupraisins
1large carrot grated
1 ¾cupsbuttermilk or1 3/4 cups milk and tsp vinegar
¼cupvegetable oil
1large eggbeaten
1-2tbspmolasses
Instructions
In a large bowl, add flour, All-Bran, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, carrots. Stir and mix together very well, to distribute the baking powder and baking soda throughout.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients in the well first.
Stir until just combined.
Once the muffin batter is just combined. Spoon into paper lined muffin tins. Bake about 20 minutes.
