Ingredients
2poundsfresh strawberries
24ouncesvanilla almond bark
8ounceschocolate chips
Instructions
Wash and dry the strawberries very well, leaving the green stems attached.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Break the vanilla almond bark into pieces and place in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring well between each one. Continue stirring until smooth before heating again, as the almond bark will continue to melt while you stir.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted vanilla almond bark. Let some of the excess coating drip off, but not all of it.
Place the strawberry on the parchment paper, push it forward slightly, then drag it back about half an inch to create the ghost tail.
Refrigerate the dipped strawberries for about 30 minutes, or until the coating is firm.
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 20 second increments, stirring well between each one, until melted and smooth.
Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag and snip off just the tip. Pipe simple eyes and a mouth onto each strawberry ghost.
Return the strawberry ghosts to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate faces are completely set.
