Easy White Chocolate Halloween Fudge Recipe
The best kind of fudge recipe is one that works every time, and that is exactly what this Halloween fudge does. There is no need for a candy thermometer or complicated candy-making steps. Simply melt, pour, decorate, chill, and cut.
This homemade white chocolate Halloween fudge is smooth, sweet, and creamy. It is perfect for Halloween parties, gifting to friends and neighbours, or enjoying at home with your family.

How to Make White Chocolate Halloween Fudge
Halloween Fudge Ingredients

- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 3 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup candy corn
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles
Make sure to use sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk. The two products are not interchangeable in this recipe.
You can add walnuts, peanuts, mini marshmallows, crushed Halloween cookies, or even gummy worms to this fudge. However, I recommend trying it plain and smooth with just candy corn and sprinkles for a simple touch of Halloween flair.
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pan
Lightly butter an 8 by 8-inch square pan and line it with parchment paper.
Leave some parchment paper extending over the sides of the pan so you can easily lift the chilled fudge out later.
Set the prepared pan aside.
Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate
Place the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Stir to coat the chocolate chips with the condensed milk.

Heat the mixture in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove it from the microwave and stir well.
Continue heating the mixture in 30-second increments, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
White chocolate can scorch easily, so do not try to speed up this step by heating it for longer periods. Stir well each time because the remaining chocolate chips may melt from the heat already in the mixture.
Once the mixture is smooth, stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 3: Pour the Fudge
Pour the melted white chocolate fudge mixture into the prepared pan.

Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to spread the fudge evenly into the corners and smooth the top.
Step 4: Decorate the Halloween Fudge
Sprinkle the candy corn and Halloween-themed sprinkles evenly over the top of the fudge.
Press the candy corn very gently into the surface so it stays attached without sinking deeply into the fudge.
You can use orange, black, purple, or green sprinkles to coordinate the fudge with your Halloween party decorations.

Step 5: Chill the Fudge
Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Leave the fudge untouched for at least four hours, or until it is completely firm. I prefer to prepare mine the day before and let it chill overnight. Overnight chilling also makes the fudge easier to cut into clean squares.
Step 6: Cut and Serve
Once the fudge is completely firm, use the parchment paper to lift it out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board.
Lightly grease a large, sharp knife with butter or a small amount of neutral cooking oil. Cut the fudge into 20 pieces, wiping and regreasing the knife as needed.
Do not warm or rinse the knife with water. Water can react with the fudge and affect its smooth texture and appearance.

Storing Halloween Fudge
Place the fudge in an airtight container with parchment or wax paper between the layers to prevent the pieces from sticking together.
The fudge can be kept in a cool spot for several days. If your kitchen is warm, or you want to keep the fudge longer, store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Refrigerated fudge will become firmer. For the best creamy texture, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
Keep the container away from heat and direct sunlight because the candy corn and sprinkles can soften or become sticky.

How to Freeze and Thaw White Chocolate Halloween Fudge
Place the cut fudge in an airtight freezer-safe container with parchment paper between the layers. Freeze for up to two months. When ready to serve, thaw the fudge in the refrigerator overnight, then bring it to room temperature before serving.
Make-Ahead Halloween Dessert
Halloween fudge is a convenient make-ahead dessert because it can be prepared several days before a party.
Make the fudge, chill it overnight, cut it into pieces, and store it in an airtight container until you are ready to serve it.
It also packages nicely in small treat boxes or cellophane bags for Halloween gifts. If you know families who do not celebrate Halloween, the simple candy corn and colourful sprinkles still make this fudge a thoughtful seasonal treat to share with friends and neighbours.
