The Best Peanut Butter Cookies

Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

This old fashioned  peanut butter cookie recipe is one that this Grandmother made as a teenager, so its at least 40 years old.  Believe it or not I loathed peanut butter cookies growing up, the way they stuck to the top of my mouth literally made me gag.  Everyone else loved peanut butter cookies, one day Mom suggested adding coconut to see if it would help. Ever since these have been my favorite cookie.  Funny part is, I still only eat my own.  I hope you love them.

The great thing about making old fashioned recipes is they contain old fashioned ingredients.  Typical ingredients most of us have in our pantries.  These recipes were designed to feed a hungry family quickly.  I love the no fuss no muss of old fashioned recipes and nothing is easier than a simple drop cookie recipe.  You don’t need to roll them into little balls, how easy is that?
