Ghostly Goodies – 15 Fun Halloween Treat Ideas

Ghosts have been haunting Halloween fun for generations, from fluttering costumes to dropcloth ghosts swaying in the freeze. These classic spooks are instantly recognizable and simple to create, which makes them the perfect inspiration for family-friendly Halloween treats.

Today I am sharing a gathering of ghostly goodies, from fluffy frosting ghosts you can dip into, strawberries dressed up in white chocolate, and even some easy-to-do mashed potato ghosts that bring a little frightful fun at Halloween dinner. This round up has 15 treats that are more adorable than scary, and I am certain your friends and family will enjoy any of these spooky snacks.

1. Brownie Bite Ghosts

It’s Always Autumn shares these little brownie bites with a simple swirl of white frosting and candy eyes to turn them into adorable mini ghosts. They are bite-sized, fun, and just spooky enough to be a hit at any Halloween party, especially for kids.

2. Ghost Brownies

5 . Two-Ingredient – Cinnamon Roll Ghosts

This second recipe from Oh Hunny I’m Home DIY is made with refrigerated cinnamon rolls, which are baked, then topped with swoops of icing and candy eyes to resemble ghosts. They’re warm, sweet, and make a fun Halloween breakfast that’s both festive and easy to do

6. Ghost Halloween Frosting Board

10. Mashed Potato Ghosts

Spend with Pennies shares her idea for creamy mashed potatoes piped into ghost shapes and then with fun little faces (zucchini). These potato ghosts turn any everyday recipe into a Halloween dinner.

11. Rice Krispies Treat Ghosts

12. Spooky Halloween Ghost Cupcakes

A large three-layer black cocoa cake is such a showstopper for Halloween. I think the web around the outside of the cake makes it even more dramatically spooky. I need to give credit for this cake to Barley and Sage, I wish I had thought of it.

15. Boo-tiful Popcorn Ghosts
