Red Truck Christmas Coffee Bar

Red Truck Christmas Coffee Bar

A Christmas coffee bar and hot chocolate bar are fun for the Christmas holidays.  Everyone is home and lazing around enjoying a slower pace and sipping a beverage after the rush of Christmas preparations. This Christmas coffee station is small,  snuggles in beside the Keurig and uses  very little kitchen counter space.

The little Christmas coffee bar is small enough to stay on the counter and functions as a handy organizer and pretty Christmas kitchen decor.

Unless I am careful and plan well Christmas clutter can steal away my joy of Christmas decorating.  This is especially true of our kitchen during the holidays.  There is nothing worse then trying to prepare treats for the family and having to stop midway to clean up a work space.  Using the little red truck for the coffee station means I have some Christmas decor in the kitchen and it virtually takes up no extra counter space.

This Christmas coffee bar is not designed so much for a large group or special occasion, its meant to make a individual serving whenever we want.  We typically make regular pots of coffee, but over the holidays its nice to have a coffee whenever we feel like it as we laze around home.

The little red truck sat in our front entrance for Christmas last year, and was a good place to keep our keys. This year I put in two Christmas mugs, a small container for spoons and had enough space for four coffee pods and some festive greenery.

The instant chocolate is stacked neatly beside the little red truck, and we can use the Keurig to provide plain hot water.

I believe you can purchase hot chocolate in Keurig pods but these buffalo check tins of hot chocolate are less expensive.

The red truck is easy to move if needed.  I could easily add a cookie jar, but I smashed my vintage clear glass Christmas jar this year.  Thankfully it wasn’t full of cookies that would have added insult to injury.  This little bit of counter space is away from my regular cooking or baking area.  It worked out really well for just the two of us.

Here is another example of kitchen Christmas decor that is functional, practical and adds decor without using lots of space.  I set up a large tray as a kitchen centerpiece with table settings.  So very handy.
